Today enjoy a full day at leisure in Rome. Known as the "Eternal City" for its influential role throughout European history, Rome is home to countless historical monuments, world famous art, architecture and ancient ruins. Perhaps take a stroll through the grounds of ancient Rome to view the Forum, the Colosseum and Pantheon. Admire the breathtaking grandeur of the Trevi Fountain and the majestic Spanish Steps, or sample some true Italian cuisine in one of the many excellent restaurants throughout the city

Day DAY 4: Full Day in Rome
Enjoy a second full day in Rome on your own. Be sure not to miss the artistic treasures of the city such as the Vatican Museum's collection of works by Raphael and Michelangelo, including the breathtaking Sistine Chapel. Stop by one of the several museums packed with artifacts from the ancient city, or take a walk through the numerous piazzas and marvel at the sculptural works on display in the open air

Day DAY 5: Embark Cruise
Enjoy the morning at leisure in Rome before transferring to the port in Civitavecchia. The ship sails at 7:00 pm. Sail overnight to Genoa

Day DAY 6: Full Day in Genoa
Today, arrive in Genoa at 7:00 am. From the ancient port, which ushered in the Genoa's first golden age, to the signature Medieval Gates, to the Christopher Columbus monument, Genoa is a rich in interesting sights. See La Lanterna, the oldest working lighthouse in the world or visit the Aquarium of Genoa, one of Europe's largest. This evening at 7:00 pm, set sail for Cannes

Day DAY 7: Full Day in Full Day in Cannes*
Today at 7:00 am, arrive in Cannes, located on the French Riviera. Cannes was once a small fishing village but today, it is home to many festivals and celebrations throughout the year, most notable being the International Film Festival. Explore the charming port or take a short ride to Nice or Monaco and its main city, Monte Carlo, known for its casinos and elaborate buildings. This evening set sail at 6:00 pm

Day DAY 8: Full Day in Barcelona
Arrive in Barcelona at 9:00 am. Barcelona is considered one of the most artistic and culturally rich cities in Spain. Perhaps stop at Park Guell, one of Barcelona's largest urban parks designed by Gaudi, the famous Catalan architect. Originally planned to be an exclusive area for the richest families of Barcelona's bourgeoisie, it later became a public park. Though the park was never fully completed, it is considered one of Gaudi's most colorful and playful works. Then continue to the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece and Europe's most unconventional church. Sail for Palma at 8:00 pm

Day DAY 9: Full Day in Palma De Mallorca
Today at 7:00 am, dock in Palma De Mallorca, the capital of Spain's Balearic Islands. It is the vacation destination of Spanish royalty. Visit the Castell de Bellver, housing an archaeological and classical sculpture museum, or stroll through the historic center of the city. See La Seu, the city's cathedral, with a vaulted nave only slightly lower than St. Peter's Basilica. For art lovers, the Museum of Contemporary Art is a must see. Sail for Valencia at 9:00 pm

Day DAY 10: Full Day in Valencia**
This morning at 7:00 am, arrive in Valencia, one of Spain's most beautiful Mediterranean cities. The fuel supplement for 1st and 2nd guests would be no more than $10 per guest per day, to a maximum of $140 per cruise; and for additional guests would be no more than $5 per person per day, to a maximum of $70 per cruise.
