About Your Destination

Discover the history and romance of Rome, Florence, and Venice with this amazing package. During your time in Rome you could visit the Vatican Museums and marvel at the Sistine Chapel, both of which draw millions of visitors every year. Walk through the Roman Colosseum and stop to view Capitoline Hill, or explore the boutiques and shops near the Trevi Fountain, a dramatic and impressive display of Roman artistry. From Rome take the train to Florence.

In Florence, you could admire the pieces of Italian artwork in the Uffizi Gallery, or discover the fine art of ordering gelato in one of the many gelato shops. Perhaps visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiori with the famous Dome added by Brunelleschi in the early 15th century, or you could walk along the Ponte Vecchio, Florence's first bridge across the Arno River. ""This tour is wonderful. It was SO organized!! Having the day by day itinerary printed out made it so easy. Everything went so smoothly and perfectly. The hotels were great, with very friendly staff. At the Florence Medditerraneo hotel, one night our electricity plug convertor broke, and the front desk took our battery charger and video camera and charged them for us in their office- just an example of how great the staffs at the hotels were! The Carrani tour group who did our Rome Vatican and our Naples/Pompeii tours was outstanding!! If we hadn't done the Florence tour we would have never got the chance to experience David! The transfers were all on time and great. I could go on and on!! (Venice, Florence, Rome by Rail 8/23/09- 9/1/09)""
