Day 1: Arrive Rome
Tour begins: 6:00 PM, Hotel Majestic Roma. A transfer is included from Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino to the Hotel Majestic Roma, on the Via Veneto in the heart of the Eternal City. We invite you to join us for a welcome cocktail reception and dinner tonight.

Day 2: Pompeii / Positano
Journey from Rome to Pompeii for a guided visit through the remains of the ancient city, frozen in time from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Your accommodations tonight are close to the picturesque town of Positano, nestled on steep cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy an à la carte dinner this evening.

Day 3: Amalfi Coast / Ravello
A drive along the spectacular Amalfi Coast, one of Europe’s most beautiful shorelines, includes views of lush gardens and olive-green slopes, hovering over the clear sea below. Explore Amalfi and visit the Cathedral of St. Andrew, then travel to Ravello for a visit to exquisite Villa Rufolo. Lunch is at a family-run restaurant where the locals – and visiting celebrities – dine; get a real taste of Italy with homemade pastas and seasonal dishes. The rest of the day is free to do as you please and have dinner on your own.

Day 4: Sorrento / Isle of Capri
Arrive in Sorrento for a walking tour and time to explore on your own, then travel by jet boat to the Isle of Capri. Spend two nights enjoying the pleasures of a less-crowded island after the last ferry carrying the day-trippers departs.

Day 5: Convertibles on Capri
Touring today is by convertible car, first to Anacapri and beautiful Villa San Michele, built in the 19th century atop the ruins of Capri’s splendid Roman palaces and villas. Next up is a visit to a different villa for a lecture by a noted professor on contemporary Italian society. The remainder of the day is spent as you wish on Capri.

Day 6: To Rome via High-Speed Train
