Begin with 3 nights at the Regina Hotel Baglioni in Rome followed by 2 nights at the Villa Medici in Florence and 2 nights at the Bauer Grunwald & Grand Hotel in Venice right on the famous Grand Canal. Travel between the cities by high-speed rail and you will be met and transferred to make the transitions as easy as possible. Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour in each city and the remainder of the time is at your leisure to explore on your own or tour at your pace. Day 1 - U.S.A.-ROME
Depart from USA to Rome. Dinner and beverages will be served on board. Following dinner you may enjoy a late night movie or settle in for a good night’s rest. A continental brunch is served before arrival.

Day 2 - ROME
Arrival at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci airport where you will be met by your personal Visit Italy Tours representative, assisted to your private car with English speaking driver and transferred to your selected hotel in the heart of the Eternal City. The remainder of the day is at leisure to unwind or take a stroll along the famous Via Veneto. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 3 - ROME
Following breakfast at your hotel you will be picked up for your city sightseeing tour including such highlights as Piazza della Repubblica, the famed Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Castel S. Angelo and the magnificent Basilica of St. Peter. The afternoon is at leisure for shopping or visiting various museums and churches. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 - ROME AT LEISURE
Breakfast and overnight at the hotel. Today enjoy a full day of leisure or choose one of the optional day tours or excursions.

Day 5 - ROME/FLORENCE
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up at the hotel and transferred by private car to the railway station in time to board your first class train to Florence. Your seats will be reserved in the first class air-conditioned compartment. Upon arrival in Florence (just 2 hours), you will again be met by a Visit Italy Tours driver and transferred the short distance to your hotel. The remainder of the day is on your own or let us know if you would like an optional afternoon tour of Pisa. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 - FLORENCE
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a morning city sightseeing tour including Piazzale Michelangelo, the Cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry, and the Fine Arts Academy. The afternoon and evening are at leisure to shop along the Ponte Vecchio or visit the famed Uffizi Gallery.

Day 7 - FLORENCE/VENICE
Following breakfast, you will be met at your hotel by a Visit Italy Tours driver and transferred to the railway station in time for your scheduled train to Venice. Again your seats will be reserved in the first class compartment of the train. Upon arrival at the Venice train station, you will be met by a VIT representative and transferred by private motorlaunch and on foot to your selected hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to begin to explore this unique city of canals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 - VENICE
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a morning walking tour of Venice including the famous St. Mark’s Square, the Golden Basilica, Doge’s Palace, across the Bridge of Sighs, and end with a visit to a glass factory. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit one of the city’s many museums, take an optional tour of Murano Island, world famous for its glass works or simply gaze as the crowds go by in one of the many outdoor cafes of St. Mark’s Square. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 - VENICE/U.S.A.
Arriverderci! Following breakfast at your hotel, you will be met and transferred by private motorlaunch to the Venice airport for your return flight. An Italian pranzo (lunch) followed by a light meal will be served on board. Sit back, relax and enjoy the service on board your flight back home.
