fully escorted short tour including some of the major Art cities
of Italy. Begin in Rome where you will
see one of the world’s most important architectural
accomplishments, Saint Peter’s Basilica along with Piazza della
Republica, the Trevi Fountain and much more. Then continue to
Assisi to view the frescoes by Giotto
in the Basilica of Saint Francis, and Siena
to see the ancient walls of the medieval city where the famous
Palio takes place each year. In Florence,
the center of the Renaissance period, you will marvel at the
Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the
Baptistery, the original sculpture of David by Michelangelo and
more. You’ll visit the sanctuary of Saint Anthony in Padua
guarded by Donatello’s Gattamelata and finally on to
Venice, the city of canals, and world
famous Murano glass with centuries of tradition. The tour ends
in Venice and you can fly home directly from Venice or you may
choose to extend if you wish. |

1 (WEDNESDAY): U.S.A / ROME
Departure from USA by scheduled service. Contact our
office for lowest cost airfare for your travel
dates.
DAY 2 (THURSDAY): ROME
Arrive at Rome’s Leonardo Da Vinci airport and
transfer by private car to your hotel. The remainder
of the day and evening are at leisure get acquainted
with Rome, “The Eternal City”.
DAY 3 (FRIDAY): ROME
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a morning
sightseeing tour of Rome. Visit the Spanish Steps,
Trevi Fountain and Pantheon ending with a stop at
the elegant Piazza Navona. The rest of the day is at
your leisure. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 4 (SATURDAY): ROME / ASSISI / SIENA /
FLORENCE
Depart your the hotel by deluxe motorcoach to
Assisi. In Assisi you will visit the beautiful
Basilica of Saint Francis with its masterpieces of
the Renaissance by Giotto and Cimabue. You will then
proceed on to Siena, a beautiful medieval city
famous for its splendid square “Piazza del Campo”.
After Siena, you will end the day in Florence where
dinner will be provided. Overnight at your hotel.
DAY 5 (SUNDAY): FLORENCE
Breakfast at your hotel followed is by a morning
sightseeing excursion including the marvelous Piazza
del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore,
Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John, the
Academy of Fine Arts Gallery with the “David” by
Michelangelo and the Church of Santa Croce. Relax
and enjoy an afternoon at leisure followed by dinner
and overnight in Florence.
DAY 6 (MONDAY): FLORENCE / PADUA / VENICE
Following breakfast at the hotel, depart for Padua
to visit the Basilica of Saint Anthony, guarded by
Donatello’s “Gattamelata”. Continue to Venice, the
city of gondolas, where you will enjoy a guided
walking tour of highlights as the Doge’s Palace, the
Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Square and the Basilica
of St. Mark. Dinner and overnight at your selected
hotel in Venice.
DAY 7 (TUESDAY): VENICE
After breakfast at your hotel, you will embark by
motorboat for a visit to the island of Murano and
its famed glass facotries. The rest of the day is at
your leisure in Venice. Dinner is included and then
overnight at your hotel.
DAY 8 (WEDNESDAY): VENICE / U.S.A
After breakfast, you’ll depart by private motor
launch for Venice Airport for your flight home.
