This 9-day tour
highlights some of the favorite Northern Italian cities and is
an ideal program for the first time traveler. Start with
departure from Rome to visit the mystic town of Assisi and
continue on to the medieval and gothic city of Siena that is
constructed on three hills and located in the heart of Tuscany.
Continue on to Florence, the Renaissance City and treasure trove
of artistic wonders. From Florence travel to the quiet and
graceful town of Pisa with its famous leaning tower, and then
continue to Padua to view St. Anthony's Basilica, and on to
Venice, the mysterious city that is built on 177 islands. Travel
from Venice to visit San Marino, the world’s smallest Republic,
and continue to Rome, the Eternal City. Sightseeing tours are
offered in each city and departures are on Thursday and
Saturday.

Day
1 - Thursday or Saturday - U.S.A-ROME
Departure from USA by scheduled service. Dinner and
beverages will be served on board.
Day 2 - Friday or Sunday - ROME
Arrival at Rome’s Leonardo Da Vinci airport where you will be
met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of this day and
evening are at leisure to rest or to explore on your own.
Day 3 - Saturday or Monday - ROME/ASSISI/SIENA/FLORENCE
After breakfast, departure by deluxe motor coach to Assisi. Stop
in this splendid and mystic town for a panoramic visit of the
Basilica and the church of St. Maria degli Angeli. Departure
from Assisi on the “Autostrada del Sole” to Siena. This gothic
city is constructed on three hills in the heart of Tuscany. This
monumental and medieval city is encircled by its ancient walls
and is famous for its splendid square "Piazza del Campo,"
designed in the shape of a shell. Here, every year the famous "Palio"
takes place. See also the elegant Palace and the Cathedral. In
the afternoon continue on to Florence. Dinner and overnight at
the hotel.
Day 4 - Sunday or Tuesday - FLORENCE
Breakfast is at the hotel, followed by a morning city tour
during which we appreciate the artistic beauty of Florence with
its Dome by Brunelleschi, the Bell tower by Giotto and the
Baptistery. The sightseeing tour continues through Piazza della
Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and finally the church of Santa Croce.
Time at leisure and return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at
the hotel.
Day 5 - Monday or Wednesday - FLORENCE/PISA/PADUA/VENICE
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for an excursion to Pisa.
This quiet and graceful town shows signs of its past and
greatness through the famous Piazza del Campo, better known as
the "Square of Miracles" where we find the Cathedral, the
Leaning Tower (a romantic bell tower of 58 meters) and the
Baptistery. At the end of the visit, departure towards Padua for
a short visit of St. Anthony's Basilica. Continue to Venice, the
city of gondolas. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 - Tuesday or Thursday - VENICE
Breakfast is at hotel and visit of this mysterious city built on
177 islands, 150 canals and 400 bridges. The sightseeing
includes the panoramic of St. Mark's Square and the Doge's
Palace (external viewing). During the morning the group will
stop in one of the famous shops of Murano glass. The afternoon
is at leisure to shop and explore on your own. Dinner and
overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 - Wednesday or Friday - VENICE/REP. OF SAN MARINO/ROME
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by private motor coach from
Piazzale Roma to San Marino. Proceed to San Marino, one of the
smallest republics in the world that still has its own currency,
stamps and has preserved its political system for over nine
centuries. In the afternoon arrival in Rome, the Eternal city.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 - Thursday or Saturday - ROME
Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure from the hotel to visit
this famous Eternal City and its artistic beauties including the
Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo and Saint
Peter’s Square with its imposing basilica. The afternoon and
evening are at your leisure to shop and explore on your own.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 - Friday or Sunday - ROME / U.S.A.
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport in time to
board your flight back home.
