Day 1 Friday - USA - Sicily
Independent overnight flight to Palermo (PMO ).

Day 2 Saturday - Palermo
You are greeted at Palermo airport and transferred to your hotel. Free time to rest or explore the town. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant. (D)

Day 3 Sunday - Monreale Dome & Valle Dello Jato Winery
After breakfast, we see the Monreale Duomo and travel to the Valle dello Jato, famous for strong wines. We visit the winery, and enjoy lunch. This afternoon we continue to Custonaci-Trapani. Light dinner at hotel (BB L D).

Day 4 Monday - Erice, olive oil factory & cooking experience
Following breakfast, we transfer to Erice and stop at a pastry-shop to taste local marzipan and almond-based candies. We visit a famous olive oil factory to enjoy a tasting. Later, we meet the Country-Chef who teaches us how to prepare local Trapani dishes for our lunch. (BB L)

Day 5 Tuesday - Salt Way Road, Marsala & Menfi Winery
This morning we cross the Salt Way Road and arrive in Marsala, home of the world famous wine. We visit an important winery for a tasting. Continuing to Menfi we reach
Baglio Winery to enjoy a light lunch. This afternoon depart to Agrigento. Tonight, a
tour of the Temples Valley. (BB L)

Day 6 Wednesday - Sant’angelo Muxaro, Sicilian Pane Cunsatu & Country Pizza
We depart to Sant’Angelo Muxaro and meet Donna Concetta. She teaches us pizza and bread preparation. We enjoy a simple light lunch of Sicilian Pizza and Pane Cunsatu (a typical country bread). This afternoon we visit the city centre and local shops. Afternoon return to Agrigento. (BB L)

Day 7 Thursday - Piazza Armerina & Caltagirone
Morning departure to Piazza Armerina in central Sicily. We continue to Caltagirone,
famous for its pottery. Time to shop. Later depart to Ragusa. Tonight, dinner at a trattoria.

Day 8 Friday - Ragusa, Chocolate in Modica & Baroque in Val di Noto
Morning walk in Ragusa Illa. Later we depart for Modica (a UNES CO World Heritage Site) where an ancient Aztec recipe is used to make the famous Chocolate of Modica.
We visit a local restaurant for a chocolate demonstration and tasting. Light lunch
included. This afternoon, we continue to Noto. Time at leisure. Later departure to
Catania. (BB L)

Day 9 Saturday - Taormina & Etna winery
Morning, transfer to Taormina. Free time. This afternoon, we travel to Mt Etna. The
area’s lava and volcanic minerals contribute to its unique wine. We visit a local winery
and enjoy a delicious Farewell Sicilian Cocktail Party. Return to Catania. (BB FC)

Day 10 Sunday - Catania
Transfer to Catania Airport (CTA ) for our return flight. (BB)
