DAY 4: Lake Como/Milan/Bologna
Travel to Milan, the Italian capital of industry and fashion. Visit the elegant 19th-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele arcade, one of the oldest shopping malls in Italy, and the imposing Duomo (cathedral), the largest Gothic building in Italy. Continue in first-class comfort on the Eurostar train to Bologna with lunch on board. On arrival, walk through its historic central area to the 14th-century Basilica of San Petronio, the Santo Stefano church complex and the medieval "leaning towers," the Torre Garisenda and Torre degli Asinelli.
